Sweet Temptation Series

This series explores women’s bodies through a lens that is both intimate and ironic, reflecting on sexualization, perception, and consumption. Growing up in the digital age, impossible standards shaped how I saw myself and others. Turning objectification into artistic attention and care helps me to rewrite these concepts.

I also address the “edibility” of women’s appearances: linking the nude figure to cake reflects how women are endlessly consumed yet never satisfied. By making the viewer complicit in this consumption, my paintings confront the subtle, pervasive ways women’s bodies are objectified. The act of looking in and of itself becomes part of the artwork.
